We have an invitation from the Portsmouth Association to join their visit the church of Stewart Taylor, our Hon Secretary, with its remarkable organ.

This remarkable instrument was recently restored by Nicholsons. Matt Dixon the project manager will talk about the organ, followed by an opportunity to play. The visit is timed to fit in with the festival to celebrate the successful completion of the project.
1.15pm to 3.15pm
with discussion of electronic organs and a short recital on Abbey organ.

A visit to this remarkable dual-purpose instrument by John Compton. It's quite difficult to get into this busy venue so this is an opportunity not to be missed. John Compton was undoubtedly a genius: a book about him is well overdue.
